Ian Rene Parent

“I grew up playing in bands and began recording and mixing in high school. In college I played in a variety of different music projects and recorded them as well as other artists around town. As a student at Chico State I worked as the Studio Manager and Technician. I also was lead sound engineer at a local venue and worked various music festivals in the north state. In 2017, after graduating from CSU Chico, I moved to Los Angeles to work at Westlake Recording Studios. During my 4 years there I gained the professional experience necessary to work with A-list artists who frequent Hollywood music studios like Westlake. Since 2021 I have been freelance, recording mixing and producing for a variety of different artists and music projects ranging from major-label to independent artists, film scores, sound bites and commercials.”
